Beauty |
| Lucy had known this poor mule since the summer of 2005 as he was a patient at the Tayibe resting station and nicknamed him "Beauty", although everybody else failed to agree. In the summer of 2006 Beauty's condition deteriorated and after advice from Lucy, Beauty's owner rested him and he was in much better shape for a while. Sadly however, at the end of the year Beauty collapsed - malnourished and beaten - and Lucy brought him home to Safe Haven where he is now enjoying his new life of freedom. |

Billy |
| Billy was rescued from a village in the south of where he was found as a stray in November 2005. Billy had been so badly beaten that there was a hole in his head just above the eye socket where you could see all the way to the bone. This wound has of course now been treated and Billy is recovering at the sanctuary. |

Bindi |
| Bindi was found abandoned in one of the villages where Lucy and the team hold their veterinary clinics and taken back to Safe Haven. Although very young and still needing her mother's milk, Bindi had already learned to chew at grass, probably in sheer desperation. Bindi has now been "adopted" by Carla who shares her milk between Bindi and her own foal Valentine. |

Blackie |
| Found in June 2001 wandering with Carly on a kibbutz, like Carly, ownership of Blackie was claimed by a local youth. It was however decided that Blackie belongs at Safe Haven and there she remains |

Bombie |
| Rescued at the end of May 2003 and discovered by a lady out horse riding not far from Jerusalem. Bombie had lost a hoof, probably due to hobbling, and because he was so little, Lucy brought him back to Safe Haven in her car! |

Bonnie |
| Bound for the zoo to be served up as food for the animals in September 2001 with her friend Clyde, luckily for Bonnie, Lucy Fensom persuaded the driver to bring the two donkeys to Safe Haven instead |

Brian |
| Brian was found wandering around the nearby moshav of Be'erotayim as a stray in March 2010. His owner had moved abroad and simply left the donkey to fend for himself. Brian has settled in well but tends to be very noisy and loves nothing more than leading the other donkeys in a round of ee-orring in the middle of the night! |
