Russell |
| Little Russell was actually born at one of Safe Haven's free veterinary clinics where his mother had been taken for treatment. A few months on, his owner decided he didn't want the donkey and Russell (named after supporters George and Rosemary Russell who were visiting at the time and were present at the birth) came into Lucy's care. |

Samson |
| Samson belonged to a chap who kept him in a small field close to his house and his main role in life was to be a friend to the two children of the family which he did very well until unfortunately neighbours campaigned against his owner in order to have Samson removed as they didn't like the "noise and smell". Needless to say his owner asked for our help and young Samson is now a member of the SHADH Donkey family! |
