Bubs Found as a 3 month orphan in June 2001, Bubs has since matured into a well built gentleman!  Adopt Me Here

Burnie Burnie was rescued from the Palestinian village of Immaten when he had deliberately been set on fire by a youth angry that the donkey had strayed onto his land. Burnie suffered horrific burns and was given his name so no-one will ever forget what happened to him but he is now on the mend at the sanctuary and will in time make a full recovery.  Adopt Me Here

Carla Rescued from the Arab village of Qalansuwa, young Carly is not only heavily pregnant but also has a broken left back leg. SHADH's vet is deciding how best to deal with the leg while Carla settles in but Carla is strong and feisty and she and her little unborn foal deserve a chance ...  Adopt Me Here

Carly Found in June 2001 on a local kibbutz with her friend Blackie, a few weeks after coming to Safe Haven some boys contested ownership but Lucy won the case and Carly remains at Safe Haven  Adopt Me Here

Celia Rescued from Palestinian Territory with Simon in the Summer of 2002, Celia, a grey donkey, had ropes embedded in her front legs when found  Adopt Me Here

Charlie Brown Brought in to Lucy by the local council, having been neglected and then abandoned by his previous owners  Adopt Me Here

Chico Rescued in July 2002 when he was just a few days old from the side of a road in the south of Israel - his mother had been hit and killed by a car  Adopt Me Here

Chloe Given to Safe Haven by a young Arab boy who bought her from youths who were mistreating her - sadly Chloe has lost a hoof due to injuries she received  Adopt Me Here
