For some time, our American supporters have been asking us how they can make their donations to Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land tax deductible as the charity does not have 501(c)(3) status.

We are now delighted to be able to let you know that we have just set up a new organization called “American Friends of Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land” with CAFAmerica to allow you to do just that. 

CAF America has been assisting individuals, foundations and corporations with their cross-border giving since 1993.  CAFAmerica is classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable organization, described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and as a public charity, described in Sections 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) and 509(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Thus, donors may claim the maximum tax benefits allowed by law for their contributions.

All American donors wishing to support Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land may now make donations (including donkey adoptions) to American Friends of Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land at CAFAmerica using the CAFAmerica Gift Form.  There is no minimum amount you need to donate. Click here for a copy of the Gift Form and if you have any queries, please e-mail info@safehaven4donkeys.org or crobinson@cafamerica.org
