A UK based Christian organisation. Their main aim is to raise awareness of animal welfare issues within the Anglican Church and the wider Christian community. They are ecumenical and welcome all Christian denominations as members and supporters. |

| The Trust, founded in 1971, operates rescue centres for unwanted, ill-treated and abandoned animals and birds. An absolute rule of the Trust is that no healthy animal is ever put to sleep. The Trust is a non-political and non-campaigning organisation; it simply concerns itself with looking after some of life's casualties. It relies entirely on voluntary contributions to carry out its work. |

 The Retreat Horse Rescue is a small animal rescue based in Portslade, Brighton. Founded by Annie and Terry Taylor in 1992, the three acre site boasts 6 stables and some 70 acres of grazing land on the South Downs and in nearby Southwick.
