Lucy received a call from the local police station in Tayibe saying they'd had a call from a local lady reporting that there was a poor donkey being abused in her neighbourhood. When the team got there it was awful. A terrible small neighbourhood which was like something from the mafia. Youths wielding knives and one even had a pistol and it was real...

Josef is terrified and is understandably quite aggressive in his effort to want to protect himself, he charges a bit like a bull but Lucy is working with him and is sure he will soon calm down once he realises he is safe. The poor dear boy, who is about 10 years of age, has also been cut with a knife although it's luckily fairly superficial and is healing well. (it looks worse in the photograph as it has a brown iodine on it).

Lucy's plan and goal is to somehow try to arrange to bring some of those youths to the sanctuary and show them a place of love and healing and peace in the hope that it may rub off on them a little...
