Dear little one eared Zahra which means 'flower' in Arabic- she was spotted at the Nablus donkey market and as she was ridiculed and seemingly unwanted Lucy just had to take her. Her right ear just sort of flops but she has no left ear at all, a little sort of stump can be felt but the owner claimed to know nothing so Lucy is unaware whether she may have just been born that way or if somebody deliberately maimed her... She was also heavily pregnant when she came to the sanctuary on 14th May 2012.  At least she is safe now and will hopefully be very happy and content and will never be ridiculed again.
