Here are some ways in which you and your colleagues can raise much-needed funds for SHADH’s work and have some fun in the process:

Dive for the donks! 

Would you like to raise funds for SHADH by making an exhilarating 10,000 feet freefall parachute jump?  We’re looking for potential jumpers all over the country.  Choose between a tandem or solo skydive, go it alone or with a group of friends or colleagues, choose a date and location, raise the sponsorship money and jump for FREE!  It couldn’t be more simple

Donkeying around…

Are you an enthusiastic runner or would you like to be one?  Why not take up the challenge of a lifetime in support of SHADH’s work?

No distance too big (or too small)

Have you obtained a place in the 2008 Flora London Marathon and want to raise funds for SHADH, or your would like a charity assured place in the British 10k London Run, the Great South Run (half-marathon), or one of several alternative distances? 

In exchange for raising a minimum amount of sponsorship, we will supply your essential SHADH running pack, including training schedules, a running vest, sponsorship forms, and automatic entry into our sporting supporter’s raffle with lots of great prizes to be won!  If you are interested in taking part in a sporting event we need to know ASAP!

Anyone for a donkey disco?

Does your employer host events?  Why not: hold a raffle or an auction, nominate a boot and load it up for a local car boot sale, host a bingo or quiz night, hire a venue, get yourselves a DJ on the decks and host a party?  The fundraising event possibilities are endless, and we’re always on hand to help and advise.

Donate to the donks direct from your salary

Payroll giving is an often-overlooked way of donating to charity but it is perhaps the most simply and efficient way of making a regular gift.  If you donated £10 a month to SHADH from your pay, your gift would only cost you £7.80 – the taxman gives us the extra £2.20.
