Beauty

Beauty was found wet and shivering at the side of the road in the Israeli Arab village of Jaljulya in January 2014 and was named in honour of a mule of the same name who had just been put to sleep that day.

Teddy Joe

Poor old Teddy Joe was abandoned on the streets of Nablus, Palestine and when found a gang of youths were beating him with sticks.  He was taken to the safety of our Nablus clinic and from there to the sanctuary.

Dusty

Dusty was found abandoned in Qalqilya in October 2013 when he was only around 4 weeks old, probably because his owner felt that he was hindering the mother donkey from working.  When brought to the sanctuary he spent the first few days “calling” for his mother but soon settled down under our care.
