Derek was about 7 years old when he was brought to our Nablus clinic on 4th July 2019. A kind gentleman had found him as a stray in the city of Hebron some months before. At the time, Derek had a broken leg so the man splinted it and took the donkey home. He cared for him for several months but realising he couldn't manage any longer, he brought Derek to us.
