Paul was about 7 years old when he was brought to us towards the end of November 2019 - he and another donkey were found tied to a pole in the Israeli city of Jaffa. Apparently the poor things had been there for a week before anyone thought to call us - what a relief they did. Both donkeys were severely dehydrated and very hungry but soon settled in at the sanctuary with their new friends.
