Working donkeys in the brick kilns of El Saf face preventable suffering every day.
Harness wounds. Overgrown hooves. Severe dehydration. Malnutrition. Exhaustion.
Since 2023, our mobile vet teams have transformed thousands of lives – treating injuries, performing surgery, and teaching donkey owners how to care for their animals. But demand far outstrips what we can provide.
That’s where first-aid kits come in.
Right now, our veterinary teams spend their time on basic wound care and dehydration cases – when they could be doing the complex surgical work that saves lives. If owners had the tools and training to handle minor injuries themselves, our vets could focus on what only they can do: emergency surgery, dental care, and critical treatment.
Dr Shaaban’s team needs your help to install 10 first-aid kits across the brick kilns and train one person in each location to use them, but to do that we need to raise £2,630

- 🆘 Everything needed for immediate first aid
