Age: 21 years old

Location: Palestine

Stanley first came to us on the 29th November 2003 together with his little female companion or possibly his mother, Muriel.

They had been found just outside a Palestinian village . Muriel had a foot injury and we believed Stanley to be around 7 months old at the time.

Muriel’s little foot was tended to - basically she’d lost part of her front hoof and until today it still needs special care.

Stanley meantime seemed as happy as could be falling in love with his fellow donkeys.

Stanley unfortunately in his later years developed a sort of arthritis in his hip and now needs daily medication to help him but he grew into a fine looking donkey and still has the most adorable and affectionate little personality.
