Saffron, known as Saffy for short, was brought to our sanctuary when just a foal by an Arab guide from an Israeli settlement in Palestine.

Rescued with Celia, Simon’s nose and chin were so badly torn that he required stitches but made a full recovery.

Found being ridden by a gang of boys, despite the fact that at the time she was heavily pregnant
