Itamar was found on a beach by the guard at the car park barrier who asked us to take him in.
Valentine was born at the sanctuary to her mother Carla, who was heavily pregnant when we rescued her on Valentine’s Day. Valentine and her mum now have a safe and loving home at the sanctuary.
Samson was a family pet but the owner’s neighbours didn’t like “the noise and smell” so campaigned to have the donkey removed.
Abu Sabber (whose name is Arabic for “father of Sabber”) was spotted being dragged along by a cart being pulled by another donkey. His owners didn’t want him so back he came to the sanctuary.
