Crystal was brought into the SHADH rest haven in Qalqilya and when she was diagnosed as not being fit for work. The owner agreed that Crystal could come back to the sanctuary.

Amir was born at the sanctuary to Aseel, who was pregnant when rescued. Amir has now grown into a strapping young man!
Anthony was not looked after by his owners and neighbours called SHADH as the donkey was raiding their animal feed supplies.

Jenkins was born in the summer of 2013 in the village of Bet Hananya, near the Palestinian town of Qalqilya. His owner complained the mother donkey was losing weight rapidly due to feeding her foal and she was took weak to carry out her work so he separated them, leaving the baby alone and abandoned.
