We’re pleased to say that Amelia received here dental treatment from Dr Eliran this week – he filed her teeth to making eating far more comfortable. Donkey teeth continue to grow throughout their life, so without filing, sharp barbs can grow which prevent the donkey eating properly. This means they can lose weight, which is

This week, Moussa noticed that Amelia is looking a little slow and weak. Following a visit from Dr Eliran, it’s been decided she needs her teeth filing! Although Russell’s eye is now recovered and he’s back with the main herd, poor Joyce has also had problems with her eye this week. Here you can see Dr Eliran, the vet, washing her eyes and ‘painting’ them to check for possible ulcers. Dr Eliran then used Joyce’s own blood to produce a natural serum,
